The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) receives requests to block web content that contradicts public interest. This includes public morals, the teachings of the Islamic faith, public order, and other prohibited content under the laws of the state of Kuwait.
As soon as CITRA receives and reviews a request to block or unblock web content, CITRA will take the necessary procedures for:
- Blocking web content, in the event it contains any prohibited web content.
- Or Unblocking web content, in the event of receiving a request that demonstrates an error in classifying the web content as prohibited.
