Value Added Services-SMS

About the service

​A service currently being licensed by CITRA that allows a subscriber of a network operator to send an SMS and participate in the dialogue, vote, participate in the media or request information, data, news, photos or movies. It is operated by licensed mobile operators in the State of Kuwait which enable the provision of service messaging services.

Procedures

STEP 1

Receive the service request 

STEP 2

Request review and approval/disapproval 

STEP 3

Fee Payment with bank guarantee 

STEP 4

Issue and print authorization 

STEP 5

Deliver the authorization 

Required Documents

  • ​Official letter to CITRA
  • Commercial registration of applicant
  • Leasing contract of applicant
  • Clearance from the Ministry of Communications
  • License civil number
  • Authorized signature
  • Certificate of Kuwaitization percentage of applicant 
  • Fire department license of applicant​

Service Fee

  • ​Bank guarantee in the amount of 300 KD
  • Annual fee of 300 ​KD​
