Oct 1 (KUNA) -- The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory
Authority and Amazon Web Services (AWS) established frameworks and policies for
cloud service to develop e-government services in Kuwait, CITRA stated on
Monday. CITRA is coordinating with Amazon to organize workshops inside Kuwait
to provide solutions for the government sector, the health and educational
sectors, and to provide state-of-the-art e-services for the public. CITRA and
Amazon signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, that sidelines of
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's visit to
Washington last month. The MoU will contribute to digital transformation of
Kuwait thus honoring 2035 vision. The agreement will help promote development
of cloud service that would enhance the performance of the government bodies.
