KUWAIT, Oct 1 (KUNA) -- The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority and Amazon Web Services (AWS) established frameworks and policies for cloud service to develop e-government services in Kuwait, CITRA stated on Monday. CITRA is coordinating with Amazon to organize workshops inside Kuwait to provide solutions for the government sector, the health and educational sectors, and to provide state-of-the-art e-services for the public. CITRA and Amazon signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation, that sidelines of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's visit to Washington last month. The MoU will contribute to digital transformation of Kuwait thus honoring 2035 vision. The agreement will help promote development of cloud service that would enhance the performance of the government bodies.
