About the service

Authorization to use telecommunication devices onboard international and coastal vessels, fishing boats, leisure boats, as well as authorization to use telecommunication devices at coastal stations for maritime navigation and safety purposes.

Required Documents

Official letter addressed to CITRA requesting the authorization.
Copy of the civil card of the applicant or authorized signatory.
Copy of signature approval - for international & local vessels.
Fill out & attach the required service application form.
Boat or vessel registration certificate.
Technical specifications of the devices.
A list contains all Telecommunication devices on the boat or vessel in details.

Service Fee

50 KD for each device that sends and receives signals on international and coastal vessels, fishing boats and leisure boats.
10 KD for each device that sends and receives signals at the coastal station.
50 KD for each device for individuals (permanent permit)
