Kuwait Top Level Domain (TLD) (.KW)
The Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) allocates, regulates, and sets all Kuwait TLD operations.
New domain names are registered via the .kw website, which is managed, operated and supervised by CITRA.
Domain name registration is processed by CITRA-accredited registrars.
To Register, head to https://www.kw:
- 1. Search for an available domain name.
- 2. Choose one of the accredited registrars to proceed.
- 3. Upload all required documents and complete the payment.
The following zones are available for registration in accordance with rules and regulations set by CITRA. This service is available for residents and registered entities in the State of Kuwait:

/.kw: general use domain for Kuwait nationals and expatriated residents. (Coming soon)

/.com.kw: reserved for registered commercial entities.

/.net.kw: for telecommunications companies (ICT) and registered service providers.

/.edu.kw: reserved for registered local private and public educational institutions.

/.org.kw: reserved for locally registered private charitable and non-profit organizations.
